Malcolm is one of the Five Knights in charge of protecting the Five Stones. He is in the middle of a battle and out on a rescue mission to save his children when he is surprised by a bolt of lightning. He is surprised to find Kaylee alone and in obvious need of protection.

Neither Kaylee nor Malcolm has any idea why he was sent to the future, but they must work together to protect each other and the children. Was Malcolm sent into the future to protect himself and his children or to meet and love Kaylee?

A Knight’s Wish by Linda Andrews was a wonderful story that held me captive for two days until I finished it. I loved watching Malcolm adjust to our world as he discovered everything around him that had changed. Learning that Kaylee lived alone was quite a shock for him and I laughed at his attempts to be Kaylee’s protector. I have always loved time travel because I feel like I live in the wrong century sometimes. Knights definitely get me to reading faster! This book is one that I will definitely add to my collection and keep. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
