Who knew keeping in shape could be detrimental to your health?

Kelly Justine runs three nights a week in a park near her Charlotte, North Carolina home. But this is the first time she has witnessed a man posing a very dead woman’s body. Unfortunately for Kelly the serial killer believes he needs hearts to achieve immortality. Kelly’s attempt to face down the man has put her in his sites as the next unwilling participant in his heart donors club.

Lieutenant T.J. Chapel receives information that there is a possible military serial killer on the loose. This is definitely not the kind of publicity that the U.S. Army is trying to receive. After meeting with Kelly there is little doubt that she is wrong in her assessment of the man who attacked her.

Eventually they will have to travel to Barbados in an attempt to save Kelly from a killer. But the island brings more than a haven; it gives the couple a chance to discover love, and a place where paradise is found.

Dahlia Rose delivers action, suspense, and romance in Paradise Found. The characters are written in a fashion that leads you to feel like they are your next door neighbors. Ms. Rose has a way of bringing you to Barbados through her description of the sights and sounds. There is nothing like a free travel pass to an exotic location. Five foot three Kelly is pixie -like in stature with a heart large enough to encompass the world. She is strong and determined – a walking firecracker. T.J. is all the stuff you expect a military man to be made of. He attempts to hide a side that is aching for love and has finally met a woman who isn’t willing to let love pass him by. There were times in this book where I could have truly throttled T.J. The man did protest a bit too much. But when the chips were down he proved himself to be a force to be reckoned with. I was proud of Kelly’s determination and will to move forward even with a madman on her tail. The story held my attention from beginning to end, and is sure to be a hit with those who love the genre.
