Jordan is a caring woman whose self esteem has been damaged at the hands of her boyfriend. Derek is strong, determined and fearless when it comes to the woman he loves. He was unwilling to leave Jordan and wanted to shelter her from her source of abuse. Derek’s small gestures allowed Jordan to experience firsthand how a real man treats his lady love. Their chemistry in and out of the bedroom was an ideal blend of tenderness and fervor. When Jordan finally exhibited a bit of backbone, I found myself pumping my fist in triumph. Ms. Cary has written a story about love, determination, and combating abuse. Some Kind of Hero is a story you don’t want to miss.
