The Sins of Their Fathers contain two novellas by Emma Wildes and Lara Santiago. Although you do not need to have read the earlier books in the series, readers will want to purchase them after finishing these stories.

Can’t Say No by Emma Wildes is a sequel to her book, Savage Shores. This is the story of Jenna and Jonathon’s daughter, Helen. She is supposed to marry a man she doesn’t love but loathes. She willfully offers her virginity to “Wicked Warrick”. Warrick is surprised by her proposition but it isn’t difficult to succumb to her wishes. Helen is a spirited girl who knows her mind. She is stubborn and beautiful. Warrick’s reputation is well-known and Helen finds it surprising that he doesn’t immediately bed her. Warrick is intrigued by Helen’s intelligence, spirit and her beauty. He is a honorable man capable of deep feelings. Helen and Warrick make an interesting couple especially with how they initially meet. The author does a great job of making them feel like real people. Readers will become emotionally invested in their story. Can’t Say No is a lovely follow-up to Savage Shores as we find out what happened to Jenna and Jonathon after they re-entered society.

Kissed By Fate by Lara Santiago is the sequel to Just a Kiss and Just One Embrace. It is Alex Tiburon’s story. On Planet Tiburon, kissing is reserve for life-partners. Shauna is desperate to cement her relationship with Alex. However, Alex is not so desperate and finds her in a compromising position releasing him from all obligations. He travels to the planet Earth, where his mother is from, never expecting to find the woman of his dreams. Lizzie, an Earthling, has never experienced what she receives from Alex. It is mind-blowing sex for both of them. Alex and Lizzie’s sexual chemistry is off the chart. They are a wonderful couple experiencing what most people only dream of. Alex is a hunky hero and Lizzie is a perfect match for him. The storyline has twists and turns as the lead couple tries to reach their happily ever after. The author gives us a very satisfying ending that will have romance lovers sighing!
