After her mother and her mother’s life partner Tory were killed in a fire set by a man who calls himself the Messenger, Ally was able to connect with the killer using the profiling and physic abilities that she has often used in the past to help the police. Now Ally’s search has brought her to the town of Legacy where she hopes to put an end to this madman’s reign of terror. But before Ally can try to connect with the killer again, she runs into the towns’ fire marshal Blake and the sparks fly which makes Ally wonder if he could be a part of her destiny as well as putting an end to the Messenger.

Bare Devotion is fourth book in the Bare Love series and can be read as a stand-alone story but I would recommend reading the previous stories first. This was the first book that I had read in this series and with the large Daniels family, I sometimes felt as if I were missing something.

That being said, I enjoyed reading Catherine’s and Ally’s stories and will definitely be going back to read the previous stories. Both of these women were strong and determined without being overbearing. The sex scenes were hot and spicy and wouldn’t be considered at all “vanilla” due to the m/f/m action. All in all, I’m giving Bare Devotion 4 angels and will be looking forward to more books from Ms. Thorn.
