The Del Fantasma line from Aspen Press is a multi-author series. The books do not have to be read in order. They are all connected by the common theme of being named after a drink and having the Del Fantasma bar and its owner Cody Warren mentioned.

Jack is a unicorn, but one that tries to avoid his predilection for being bound to a virgin. He hangs out in the paranormal hotspots having sex with random men and women and tries to avoid any place that he will run into any pure-of-heart virgins. Del Fantasma is perfect for Jack and he is enjoying his time there immensely. But when Bryan, a human visiting the bar, becomes stranded he calls his brother Scott for help. When Scott walks in Jack knows he is doomed, the attraction is immediate and Bryan knows Scott is that dreaded being, a virgin. But all is not what it seems and their meeting is not chance. There is a sinister plot underfoot and Scott is the bait. Can the two men overcome the odds stacked against them or will they succumb to the dark forces?

This is a very erotic short story packed with great characters, great emotion, and a great plot. I love this series and Unicorn is a scrumptious addition. I loved Jack, especially the idea that a unicorn, a being that is supposedly this icon of purity, spends all the time that he isn’t bound to a virgin engaging in every sordid act he can think of, multiple times. He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his wit. Scott was a bit too much of a good thing. Too sweet, too pure, too innocent…but still likable, and Jet Mykles has written a great story for lovers of the paranormal and m/m romances.
