Brad has horrible luck with women! Everyone he dates either starts getting on his nerves or they try to get him to marry them before he would even consider it. On Halloween evening, Brad is doing his ritual caring for his little Bonsai tree he’s had since he was fifteen years old. After a fight and breakup with another girlfriend, Brad is thinking to himself when all the sudden a female voice starts talking back to him in his head! Brad thinks he’s going crazy until he realizes it’s his little Bonsai tree! This little tree just happens to harbor the soul of a young woman named Deidre. She’s been trapped in tree seeds by a curse from her ex boyfriend for several years; once the tree’s lifespan ends, she just transfers on to the next tree. Brad makes it his mission to free Deidre from her prison.

The Sixth Cursed Halloween was such a cute and fun read! I completely enjoyed this off-the-wall story! Brad obsession with freeing Deidre from her tormented life spans throughout a period of six years. Every Halloween, Deidre has the ability to communicate with Brad. While waiting for that night to arrive, Brad continuously pours over every magic book he can find and searches the web for the answer that can free her. He still hasn’t found an answer when another crazy girlfriend comes over wanting to spend time with him and he tells her to leave. She isn’t happy with that answer and when she realizes he’s awfully obsessed with his Bonsai, she proceeds to pick up the tree’s pot, smashes it, and crushes the little tree before stomping out. Will Brad ever free Deidre or is she gone for good? Find out by reading this adorable story the talented Ms. Armstrong has written!
