I was amazed at the amount of description, action, and passion that was packed into such a short book. Felicity Heaton has a talent with words, describing everything in such detail; I could feel myself there with her characters. I can only imagine the power of a longer book written by this amazing author. Alicia has a hatred and fear of vampires and wants them all dead. When she meets and desires Kassian, she has an internal struggle with her own morals and how she feels about vampires. That struggle turns into confusion, as she is unsure if she was Alice in a past life. If she wasn’t Alice, can Kassian still love her and stay with her, or will he leave her like all other men have? Kassian has spent years getting stronger and perfecting his vampire powers. He knows that the day will come when he will avenge Alice’s death. When he finds her again, in Alicia, he will stop at nothing to have her forever. If you enjoy erotic paranormal romance, then you must read this quick, hot book!
