Scions: Revelation

Caine Grennard has proudly held the second command in his wolf pack for the last several years, but all that changed the day that it took him two hours to change from his werewolf form back into his human form. He knows that his whole pack is waiting to see if he will be the next zerker. To go from being second in command to his leader to not being able to shift is one of the hardest things that Caine has ever had to go through. He feels like his leader has deserted him when he insists that he wear a silver chain around his neck. He remembers wearing these and knows that it will keep him from shifting but not even to please his alpha will he wear it. So, he leaves his pack and the only home that he has ever known to live full time with humans in the city. His life there is going well until he meets a woman whose touch literally electrifies him, and he knows in his heart that this is his true mate. This woman has her own set of problems but luckily for her Caine is more than willing to help her out with them. Can helping her with the problems help them to grow closer or will solving them tear them apart?

Emma Gray is very attracted to Caine. However, right after meeting him all of her problems started. Her aunt was kidnapped, she is kidnapped and has her blood drawn, and then is kidnapped again and learns something totally new and different about herself. She wonders if he is the cause of the problems or is he the only one willing to stand up and fight with her and for her?

Scions: Revelation proves that Patrice Michelle is a masterful storyteller, and you do not want to miss reading this book. It is the third and final book in her series, and it wraps up this storyline in a way that you cannot imagine. I normally recommend reading a whole series, but if you want to begin with this one, she brings it all together just beautifully and gives enough of the story that you can enjoy it by reading only this book. It brings the vampires, the wolves and the leopards together in a way that only a great storyteller can bring to life. From the second that Caine and Emma meet you can feel the sparks that they ignite within each other, and you immediately start to pull for them as a couple. The mystery surrounding Emma and the way it is solved makes me want to see Ms. Michelle write a mystery novel. Her details draw you into the book, and she never lets your attention wonder from the story. There are more people in this book and the whole series that I would love to see get their own story, so I hope that those stories will be written by this great author.
