Chen Jin Tai can’t believe it! His mother has never truly accepted that he is gay and now she decides to come to his commitment ceremony to David Anderson. Tai and David have been together for two years. The moment they met it hit them like lighting and they were unable to deny the feelings between them. David never expected to ever meet someone special. Going out for a few days and having anonymous sex was good enough for him until he literally ran into Tai; after that it was history. The only cloud in their future is Tai’s mother’s refusal to accept David it has always been a problem and now so close to the ceremony could drive a wedge between them. Is their love strong enough to overcome this obstacle or is their love doomed?

Ms. Kersten has created an interesting story about how people from different cultures look at issues differently. David had a difficult time dealing with Tai’s mother’s resistance to not only accepting her son’s sexual preference, but his choice of life mate too. Tai was dealing with his love for David and his love for his mother, which at times were at odds with each other. The only constant was the beautiful love and acceptance between Tai and David, and the hope that if they keep their love strong then hopefully everything else will fall into place. I hope that there will be other stories about the lives of Tai and David. Thanks go to Ms. Kersten for a great read.
