The Englor Affair
Every prince has his problems. For Payton Townsend, second son to the king and king-consort Regelence, those problems are the intergalactic kind. A computer genius, Payton goes to the plant Englor with his brother-in-law to help solve these problems. When he meets Simon Hollister, Prince of Englor and the very man he’s there to investigate, sparks fly between them.
This is part two of J. L. Langley’s Sci-Regency series. Ms. Langley blends the past with the future using Regency England societal morals as a backdrop and blending it in a futuristic time period and modern technology. The whole milieu in this series shouldn’t work well but . Ms. Langley does it flawlessly, making a believer out of me. The Englor Affair was meant to follow the plot line of My Fair Captain so both needs to be read in sequence. Payton and Simon are just as likeable as the two main characters in the first book in this series. Having experienced the Townsend family so intimately the first time around I was glad for a glimpse of them this time as well. Payton and Simon’s plot line ties in with the main plot line for the series wonderfully. I’m looking forward to the third installment in this series.
