Renovations 2: Playing House

Ven and Toby are still working together on flipping houses. Ven as the contractor of choice in the homes that Toby buys to flip, but this house just might be different. Toby thinks that the “Cinderella House”, as Ven has dubbed it, might just be worth keeping for good. Toby also comes to the decision that Ven might be worth keeping for good as well but can he convince Ven of that?

Ven and Toby are great characters, well matched and both very attractive if in completely different fashions. I like that each has their own strengths and that they are in opposite areas. Plus, I find the contradiction in the combination of a construction worker, albeit the owner of the company, and a lawyer to be a delicious one. The heat between them is very strong and the bedroom scenes are smoking hot. But, more than that, I like that they are slowly getting to know each other outside the bedroom and finding that they are compatible in more than just the sex department. Playing House has more of an emotional tone to it than the previous story in the Renovations series. We are also treated to a deeper look into the backgrounds of the men and what makes them tick. I look forward to reading the next installment in this fun little series.
