The Book of Scandal was a real treat. Evelyn and Nathan’s feelings about their tragic loss were very real to this reader. Nathan’s heartfelt plea would make hearts melt as you got to know his side of what happened right before Evelyn left to go to London. Although some might say Evelyn took the cowards way and ran, to this reader it seems to be the route so many would, take making Evelyn’s character, and actions, incredibly realistic. Julia London has brought us a breathtaking story of tragedy, love and hope. By far The Book of Scandal is one of Ms. London’s best books bringing her readers two characters to cherish and fall in love with.
