Two Hearts

Grace Montrose sees no reason to marry. She is independently wealthy, has a best friend as a companion, and spends her spare time designing theatre sets. Brandon White, Earl of Morewood, is also in no rush to wed. He has a suitable heir and a full life, secretly writing the plays Grace designs sets for. Night after night, they see each other at the theatre, but don't talk.

Then one night, Grace and her companion are attacked. Brand comes to their rescue. The attraction, both physical and intellectual, is instant. They spend more and more time together, causing scandal and speculation. They are perfect for each other but neither Grace nor Brand wish to risk what they have by gambling on marriage.

Two Hearts is a wonderful traditional Regency. The plot is engaging. The dialogue is fast and witty. The characters are unique and equally matched. Grace is a strong willed, independent woman with plans of her own. Brand understands Grace's desire to live her dreams. One moment, this hero is rescuing Grace from muggers, the next he is carrying his ailing mother up the stairs. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't stop turning the pages. Two Hearts is everything a Regency romance should be.
