Melinda works for an upper-class formalwear store called Formally Yours, selling fancy clothes to well off people. On Halloween evening, her boss asks her to make a special delivery for her that has to be done by sundown and she agrees. Melinda figures she can make the delivery and then head over to her sister’s house to hand out candy to the little prince and princesses when she’s finished. To her horror, the house is about a two-hour drive away, so she decides to just be late and goes to her sister’s to hand out candy. When she arrives at the address, the house is a huge spooky mansion that looks like it’s straight out of a scary movie, complete with spooky howling as a backdrop. When she knocks and there’s no answer she heads in to make her delivery. Being attacked by a wolf is the last thing she remembers before waking up the next morning. A week later, she feels drawn back to the house and its owner, Connor, for some strange reason.

Informally Yours was a cute story with a sweet girl, a domineering and sexy man and a backstabbing boss. Beth Caudill has written a short and fast paced story that will leave you wanting more at the end! I enjoyed Melinda and the chemistry that her and Connor had. I only wish it had been longer! There’s a lot of story in this short tale that will leave you wishing that there were more in between the gaps. The only thing I wish Ms. Caudill had included was the story in between the weeks the tale would jump through. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Melinda and Connor’s romance and the confusion Melinda had over their situation.
