Armed & Dangerous: Zack

After Zack Hunter walked out of her life, Sky MacKenna has never found another man who makes her feel as Zack did, but Sky doesn’t want to think of the heartbreak that Zack caused her and focus’s her attention on her father’s ranch that she runs since her his retirement. Sky has poured everything she has into the ranch, and now everything is being threatened by rustlers who are determined to take as much as they can, including her prized bull.

Then out of nowhere, Zack shows up at her ranch to let her know that he’s moved back to town and is working as an ICE agent. He tells her that he wants to make up for walking away from her years ago and is determined to make Sky his in every sense of the word.

But Zack soon learns that the cattle rustling might be a cover for something more dangerous, and Sky is in the right in the middle of it. They don’t know where the danger might be coming from.

Zack is the first book in Cheyenne McCray’s Armed and Dangerous series and what a start it is! Zack and Sky are such perfect leading characters with their explosive chemistry and stubborn streaks. I was glad that Sky didn’t give in to Zack right away or hold off too long from sheer obstinacy. And Zack was a little overbearing but it was more sexy than annoying.

I have to admit Ms. McCray is one of the authors on my auto-buy list since I’ve never been disappointed in any of her books and Zack is no different. It’s a tempting, sexy tale that will leave you with a smile on your face and a hunger for chocolate cheesecake.
