Melissa Lopez pens an intriguing tale that definitely entertains. While the storyline for Cursed by Moonlight isn’t a new one, the reactions of the characters are. Alric and Caasi are pushed into a situation which neither expected, yet which brings them closer than either ever dreamed. In the midst of death, betrayal, and a search for answers, these two also find love. Alric is a hero to dream of, one who is strong and noble but also sizzling hot. While searching for a cure for his curse, he instead finds a woman who is strong enough to accept him. Caasi risks all to help a man she’s just met. She follows her feelings and trusts her instincts, even at her own expense. The combination of Alric’s despair and Caasi’s compassion, as well as a big dose of sexual tension makes this Torrid Tarot tale one that will engage you in more ways than one.
