Forgive and Forget
Forgive and Forget by A. Steele is a story of friendship, love, and just a little bit of pain. Thousands of years ago, the sun god Apollo and the god of wind Zephyrus were the closest of friends. This friendship was demolished by a tragic accident, and the two became bitter and separated with Apollo blaming Zephyrus for the death of his mortal lover. Zephyrus has a different recollection of the end of their relationship, however. He insists that their estrangement occurred well before the tragedy and that the association that he and Apollo shared was much more than merely friendship – it was a bonding of souls. But if this is so, why can’t Apollo remember? Could the same person responsible for separating the two friends and tampering with their memories have also caused the death of Apollo’s young lover? It will take a cast of very determined gods, some “tough love” with leather and chains, and a little assistance from Fate for them to find the truth.
This story is certain to appeal to lovers of Greek mythology. It is populated with gods who are big, loud, physically stunning, and absolutely hilarious. Since most of the characters are mythological and are familiar already, extensive character development is not necessary; however Ms. Steele’s treatment of them makes them spring from the story fully-developed almost immediately. Apollo and Zephyrus are a blindingly beautiful pair that not only explore the wilder side of sex, they have fun doing it. Kinks of all types are brought into this sexual farce, but what else can you expect from the gods on Olympus – just about everything the gods of myth did revolved around sex. Forgive and Forget makes this reader want to go back to those myths and re-read them with just a little more attention. Thank you, Ms. Steele, for giving us such an enjoyable and entertaining story. Encore, please.
