Dr. Stephen Lavornios will be handling his most challenging case yet when he gets involved with the lovely Mairey Bronwyn. Mairey’s occupation is an excavator of ancient Druid artifacts. Mairey’s job can be pretty peaceful most of the time although recently someone has been causing problems at the excavation site. Stephen goes to visit Mairey and finds her at the bottom of a pit unconscious. That’s just the first of many situations Stephen has to contend with, things are turning up missing on the site and Stephen is accused of smuggling. .Can Stephen protect Mairey and clear his name?

Garland of Druids: Kiss of a Druid Bard is book four in the Garland of Druids series. Dr. Stephen Lavornios and Mairey complement each other very well. In my opinion, I thought Mairey did a good job of being able to get Stephen to let loosen up a little bit more; in addition Stephen watched over Mairey but let Mairey still maintain her independence. The story line was well-crafted and smooth. This is hugely due to Jean Hart Stewart’s writing style. She really knows how to bring her characters to life. I just can’t get enough of Ms. Stewart’s druids in the Garland of Druids series.
