Storm Warning

Storm Warning is book 3 in Sydney Somers’ Shadow Destroyers series.

Drew Reid was forced by his boss to take some much needed time off from active duty as a demon slayer. The last thing Drew expected to find while on leave was a strong attraction to a feisty, sexy beauty by the name of Blair. Then, things became even more complicated for Drew after he learned that his spectacular woman turned out to be none other than his partner’s sister!

Investigative reporter Blair Murphy was on the threshold of exposing the wrong doings of a corrupt politician when she encountered a handsome stranger who intrigued her more than the undercover inquiry. After her wild one night fling with Drew, Blair never anticipated seeing him again; yet, fate had other ideas because Drew was her brother’s colleague.

Then the problems began. Dating was almost near impossible and had to be done in secret because Blair’s brother was overly protective, and he didn’t want his sister to be caught up with a man who changed women like he changed clothes. And, to top that off, Blair was attacked by a ferocious demon and infected with a raging storm that was very difficult to control. As Blair’s emotions became dangerously entangled with her erratic powerful abilities will her relationship with Drew be her saving grace or will it be their downfall?

Storm Warning is a wonderful addition to Sydney Somers’ Shadow Destroyer series, and it can be read independently. I loved everything about this novel! It’s jam-packed with thrilling action and a super-hot melt-in-you-mouth type of passion romance. I was firmly glued to my seat flipping page after page eager to uncover all of Storm Warning’s secrets. I know that when I pick up one of Sydney Somers’ books, I am in for an amazing and breathtaking treat, and I am glad to say that I was not disappointed one bit. Blair and Drew’s story was filled with exciting, non-stop activity and intense lustful, loving moments. Ms. Somers successfully delivered a superb story with plenty of conflict, passion, suspense, and a mind-bending battle that will leave a lasting impression.
