Abduction

Devan has been abducted. Her jailer seems to know her better than she knows herself. She escapes from the madness and finds herself out in the middle of the wilderness. She comes across a cabin and meets Vaughn. Untrusting and unsure of what Devan is doing in his home, well-known rock star Vaughn wants to be alone and is not happy to have his solitude so rudely interrupted. Tempers are high and though there is no reason for it the two are attracted to each other. A sweet and meaningful relationship starts to develop but that is all shattered when, Conrad, Devan’s abductor finds them.
Conrad’s twisted love for Devan has him planning her deflowering by Vaughn but only as long as it is orchestrated by him. His threats lead the couple to engage with each other in a way they never thought possible. Their budding feelings for each other are severely tested and the ghosts of their past come out to haunt them. Can a love survive the cruelest of elements or can it bring them closer together? Scarred forever or dark fantasies come true?

Abduction is not for the faint of heart and is not in any way your typical “love” story. From the start the raciness of the tale is heart stopping. The unusual turn of events will keep the reader guessing what will happen next. Nothing is what it seems. The length of the novel is daunting but I found that once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down and the pages rolled by. The sex is unusual but highly intense and arousing. The story itself is quite unusual and darkly intense and the element of nonconsensual sex may be a turn off to some. Varian Krylov is an intense author that I will definitely be reading more of.
