Though years have passed and he is still mourning the death of his beloved wife, Thomas decides to take on the proposition.

Lady Caroline wakes up blindfolded and naked in a man’s bed. Terrified of what is happening to her, she finds no surprise that it is at the bidding of her odious fiancé that she is there. Though frightened and unable to see her captor, she finds herself drawn to him and the things he is teaching her. Together they are delving deeper and deeper into each others hearts, but they both know they can never be together. Can love conquer all?

Heat, intensity and eroticism combine to make a story that will singe your eyebrows! The premise is a new one to me and I found myself rapidly turning the pages to see what would happen next. Thomas is sexually inventive yet shows an enormous amount of caring. His character had depth and I could easily see him as a real person. Caroline was a surprise. Her sexual progression was titillating. The characters were well written and were easy to imagine as real. Ms. Glass has done a great job.
