Before a laboratory accident Nikki and Paz were lovers. Separated afterwards, they finally meet again, but things have definitely changed. One is a hero, known as Silverhawk and using the super powers the accident gave him for good and justice. The other is known as Steel, he is bent on destroying the scientist responsible for his superhuman problem.

As they meet again, they are tempted to be with each other once more, but things have changed dramatically. Sometimes when situations change, people change. Things can’t always go back to the way they once were. To add to the situation, a man named Douglas comes into the mix and stirs things up a bit.

Lovers who reunite after a life changing accident are always a good story. Add a few gay men and some superhuman abilities and you have Opposing Forces. The relationship these two had is strained and you can feel it as you read. When one goes good and the other not so good, things get intense. I love to read stories of all kinds and this was a very entertaining read. Adrianna Dane did a fantastic job in her creation of these characters. I felt as though I was standing over these men and watching the scene play out. I felt the anger, the sadness, and above all the passion shared. Fans of superheroes will love Opposing Forces.
