Throughout the House of Night series Zoey Redbird has found out what it is to be an outcast. First she was cast out of her home by her stepfather. Then she was chosen by Nyx as the Priestess of the Dark Daughters, now she’s made a few huge mistakes in dealing with her friends and her ex boyfriend. However, evil is afoot and the last thing Zoey can be is outcast. If she stands alone it is foreseen that she will die. Can she find a way out of the trouble she’s in?

I was blown away yet again by the story that P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast weave in their latest installment of the House of Night series. War is coming and they hold no punches when it comes to their characters. Zoey has had a hard time in the past two books and Untamed is no different. I feel for her so much and have to say that that is the mark of a fantastic writing team. You feel like you know the characters on a level that not many authors can pull off. I’ve actually found myself thinking ahead to the next book…what will they do? How can they possibly win? What next? I really truly cannot wait to see what’s in store for Zoey and her crew.
