Break of Dawn

Dawn is still coming to terms with the fact that both her mom and dad are vampires not to mention the fact that her mom stood by and let Dawn’s friend and co-worker Breisi die right before their eyes. But she doesn’t have time to set back and dwell on the facts that she’s learned, she has to move on and prepare for the battle with the underground.

As they prepare for what is to come, Dawn is still conflicted by her feelings for her boss Jonah and the PI Matt and wonders just who the good guy really is. But as her emotions get the better of her, she pushes at Jonah to learn what he is hiding, then after finding out, Dawn wonders if knowing was really better than being in the dark.

Break of Dawn is the third book in the Vampire Babylon series by Chris Marie Green. The more I learn about Dawn the more I like her and want to know more. She is such a multifaceted character that you can’t help but be drawn to her and the inner demons she faces.

I love how Ms. Green keeps the plot flowing so smoothly and the action coming while giving you a touch of romance and humor.

This book answers a lot of questions that were left from the previous two books but still leaves you wanting more. I’m happy that there will be a second Vampire Babylon trilogy since I can’t seem to get enough of this dark, mysterious world!
