Broken Boundaries
Being the youngest recruit in the history of the Academy gives Chaz a reason to crow. His quick reflexes and outstanding hand eye coordination gain him a position as a gunner. Unfortunately, the recruiters didn't explain how the Needle operates or that he would be teaming with Ferron.

Considered one of the most dangerous members of the Academy, Ferron didn't expect to ever fly one of the Needles again. When he meets Chaz, the direct opposite of his former gunner, he knows winning his confidence will be an uphill battle. To fly the Needle, he will need Chaz to accept him on a level he has never entertained with men. Ferron is willing to break down every boundary and defense to ensure they create the perfect team.

Broken Boundaries takes us into a remotely secure Academy responsible for training Earth's defense against possible alien threat. Chaz has to face dormant desires and allow them to flourish if he wants to be the gunner. Ferron is still trying to come to grips with the loss of his former gunner, while preparing for graduation. The two men are both strong, determined, and fiercely protected of those they care about, but that's where their similarities end. Ferron is trying to help Chaz acquire the comfort level needed to function in his new position, but his dominant nature refuses to give Chaz any leeway. I loved watching these two interact, and seeing Chaz emerge from his shell of denial and accept his true nature. Evangeline Anderson has written a wonderful story that is above the norm I'm used to seeing for outer space romance. Her creativity shines in Broken Boundaries, as well as her ability to form balanced unions in the most unlikely pairs. Fans and new comers will be more than happy they picked up a copy of this fantastic story.
