Boys in the Band 3: Final Act
Final Act is the third book in the Boys in the Band series. It is not meant to stand alone and should be read in sequence.

The tension in the band can be cut with a knife ever since Caidon went to Nashville. Joe refuses to even speak to Spud, who Caidon now calls Jaime, and when he does it turns hostile. Spuds kind nature makes it hard for him to take the abuse and if Caidon finds out it may just cause a scene. Or worse, the band could break up. Spud doesn't what the band to fail because of him. But what can he do?

BA Tortuga writes with an authentic voice, and Boys in the Band is certainly no exception. If you've read part one and two in this series, then you already know that. Sometimes this makes the wording confusing to read, but overall isn't too much of a problem for Final Act. In Final Act the band that became almost like a character in the first two books seems to die a slow death. The story shifts to Spud and Caidon, becoming more of a character story than the plot story it once had been. Who can get enough of Caidon and Spud? If you haven't read the first two books then what are you waiting for? The third part ends the series wonderfully!
