Spanish Doctor Daniel Ugarte arrives on the Native American Reservation to help the town hospital. When he meets Prickly Jeff Redbear and kind-hearted Sean McCallum, he doesn't know what to think of either man. He ends up working closely with both men as Jeff is a social worker and Sean is the town sheriff. Daniel finds himself attracted to both men. But Daniel has a past that is none to pretty. One he doesn't talk about with anyone, especially two men who are very different from him. What happens when three men from three very different worlds collide? Sparks fly!

Despite being somewhat predictable Warriors & Healers is a heart-warming story about three men that are willing to do what it takes to make a relationship work. The differences between all three men are very apparent and brilliantly written. These differences seem to carry the story along in interesting directions. The way each man has to fight his own individual battle also brings about some touch and tear-filled moments. There are also moments that will leave you laughing out loud as well. H. J. Brues certainly knows how to touch the heart of readers in Warriors & Healers . This novel is not to be missed!
