Vivien and Rex have both had a thing for each other since Rex moved to town five years ago, but neither has done anything about it. After saving her from a wild dog, Vivien ends up staying the night with Rex and they finally admit their feelings. Rex has a secret though. He is a werewolf, and Vivien is going to become one too. Rex has to figure out how to tell her without losing her, because Vivien is his mate, and he will do whatever he can to keep her in his life.

Big Bad Wolf is a pretty typical werewolf story, but it is a play on Little Red Riding Hood. Rex is the hero, but also the wolf and a sexy one at that. Right away they start a relationship that is nothing Vivien has ever experienced. She falls for Rex quickly and they settle into a relaxed life together, with some steamy perks. The love scenes are what made Big Bad Wolf a better story, even though they weren't as exciting as I had hoped for. Vivien and Rex have no problems trying new things out in the bedroom, or the kitchen table. For me, the story felt like a comfortable cozy romance and sometimes they are the kind I like to get lost in.
