Sage Harper is half fairy, and has the ability to read minds, but only in high tension moments. Unfortunately for him, he was also cursed by being extremely handsome, so the minds he reads usually feature him in some interesting positions. Forced to avoid contact with anyone, he reluctantly takes on a job that has asked for him specifically. Joe works at the bank that Sage has been tasked to re-enforce security, and he knows he is not someone people lust after. When Sage shows up full of arrogance, Joe refuses to admit his attraction. When Sage realizes he can't read Joe at all, he finds he has to have him. Working closely together 24 hours a day to protect the priceless Zodiac Stones, Joe and Sage learn they can't fight their feelings for long.

I loved Sage and Joe from their first weird meeting in the men's room. They are both strong men with completely different personalities that work so well together. Sage got tired of his gift long ago and it is a breath of fresh air when he meets Joe. Sage does come off as cocky and arrogant, but we get to see beneath the surface. He is insecure and deep down he just wants someone to love him for him, not for his body. Watching Joe come to realize this and see their struggles to figure out what to do is a steamy ride full of emotion, passion, and laughter. There is also a mystery to be solved that adds to the story nicely. Also, the sexy love scenes add to the story greatly. They both struggle to accept what is going on between them, and they are both vulnerable but neither wants to let the other know. You might want a fan and a tissue while reading Mind F*cked, but it is worth it. I look forward to the next book in Mia Watts' Faerily Imperfect series.
