Fifteen years ago, Jarek walked away from Zahra. She was the cousin to the King. He was a healer of no lineage. It was a difficult decision but the only rational choice. Emotionally damaged, Jarek is now more wolf than human. A wolf is not rational. All his primitive beast recognizes is his mate. He is determined to have Zahra, at least until the man returns.

Savage Need has some of the most emotionally charged sex scenes this reviewer has ever read. The attraction between Zahra and Jarek overflows with intensity. Jarek starts the story as a beast. His thoughts and actions are raw and primitive. As he becomes more human, his word choice and dialogue length increases. He shields his emotions. This transition is skillfully wrought. Savage Need is a must read for werewolf lovers.
