In The Initiation of Isabella, Isabella Tallin can hardly believe it when the man she dubs "Mr. Sexy" picks her up at the predetermined street corner and is in charge of her sorority induction. However, he seems to know what he's talking about, so she goes along for the ride. It is not until she is bound, blindfolded, stripped and gagged that she finally admits the truth. Clearly no sorority would sanction the sexual acts she is at first forced to participate in, and then eagerly enjoys, and this man is nothing but a gigolo.

Logan Sommers, owner of Fantasies Fulfilled, is as confused as he is aroused by the behavior of the woman he believes has paid good money to be sexually dominated. She has requested three specific erotic scenarios, and he is determined she gets what she asked for...and all the pleasure he can both provide and gain in doing so. It is her sporadic, yet continued appearance of innocence which continues to disturb him. Why is the supposedly jaded woman acting in such a manner-and what if she isn't actually his client?

It is amusing to watch the twists and turns of Isabella's mind when she begins to grasp what is happening to her. As she grapples with the fact that total submission is what is expected of her, she is more and more turned on by what is being done to her-even though any self-respecting woman of the 21st century would be ashamed of this. However, her response to "Mr. Sexy" would strike a chord in every woman with the fantasy of having the responsibility in behaving in a "p.c." manner so effectively removed.

Likewise, Ms. Ives does an excellent job of providing the readers with a peek inside Logan's head where we find an amazingly sensitive, romantic soul. He is unwilling to believe Isabella truly wants the decadent, hedonistic experience that he is more and more confident she did not request. Still, his dismay at discovering the truth is nothing short of charming, and any reservations the reader might have in falling head over heels with him promptly disappear. His desire to simply date her puts the nail in that casket. With The Initiation of Isabella, Ms. Ives has successfully penned an intensely erotic, yet surprisingly touching story in very short format, and I highly recommend it. Five Angels
