Hidden Fire
Julian Salvatore is known around station 5 as a ladies' man, but what no one knows is that Julian's womanizing behavior is his way of dealing with the secrets of his past that weighs heavily on him.

Julian has been attracted to defense attorney Grace McKenna ever since they first met, but she hasn't wanted anything to do with him. So when Julian gets called to a fire at a local restaurant and see's Grace with a client that Julian knows is a bad guy, he tries to warn her away from him. He thinks that he's pushed Grace even further away, but when Julian gets injured, Grace is there for him. From there they start getting to know each other.

The tentative relationship that Julian and Grace have is soon threatened after a series of murders happen in Nashville, and the killer sets his eye on Julian as his next target. Julian must face his tortured past in order to save his own life and his relationship with Grace.

Hidden Fire is the third book in author Jo Davis' sizzling hot Firefighters of Station Five series.

Ms. Davis has penned a quick-paced, action filled story that was fun to read. I was expecting something a little different than what Julian's secret actually was and felt that the ending was pretty far-fetched, but I guess that's the beauty of a romantic suspense. You're never quite sure what will happen next.

Julian and Grace certainly had chemistry and put out a lot heat whenever they got close to one another. All in all, Hidden Fire was a fun, entertaining read that leaves me eager to know more about the Firefighters of Station Five. 5 angels!
