When clinical psychologist Kate Holly's friend and current secretary Mona is unable to work because of a rash, Kate has to find someone who'll take her place in a hurry. When Kate's mom fills in and starts giving her patients advice Kate calls a temp service who sends over a woman who Kate thinks will work out fine until Mona can return. But when the secretary starts dressing like Kate and even changes her hair to look identical to her own, Kate knows that she has a big problem on her hands.

To make matters even worse, Jay has recovered from the injuries he suffered six weeks ago. After hearing on the news that Kate risked her life by grabbing a gun away from a lady during an anger management class, he has decided to volunteer to fight the wildfire that is overwhelming crews in Florida.

And to top it all off the story on the news said that Kate was an Atheist, and now she has to deal with her neighbor trying to convert her.

High Anxiety is the third book in the Crazy series by author Charlotte Hughes and an absolute blast to read. It's always fun to see what kind of crazy is surrounding Kate, and how she deals with it. It's also good to see how her relationship with her ex-husband Jay is doing. Ms. Hughes always manages to pack plenty of humor and heat into her stories that leave the reader grinning from ear to ear. Her quirky characters set the perfect tone for all the nuttiness that follows.

Each story in the series can be read as a standalone book, but I guarantee that after reading one you'll have to have them all! I'm eager for the next one and have just one wish for Ms. Hughes keep 'em coming!
