City of Blood
City of Blood by A. J. Llewellyn and D. J. Manly is the third book in the Blood Eclipse series.

Rory can't believe just how bad things have gotten ever since Carden lost control. The city is under vampire control, and it is like the end of the world. Rory with his friend Dennis have picked up the pieces, and with the help of the remaining vampires at the sex club Eclipse, they are reopening. The only problem is the extremely limited amount synthetic blood after their vast supply was almost destroyed. Looting, fires, and unlawfulness pales with what could happen when the vampires get hungry enough. Rory can't stand not knowing where Carden is or if he needs him. Dennis and his vampire lover Thiago are also caught in the middle of the chaos, but will anyone survive?

Carden is on the other side of the world missing Rory just as much. To his surprise, Carden found his father, Delcen, barely alive, but with his blood he revived him. Unfortunately, Delcen is very disappointed in Carden and doesn't appreciate him being in love with a man or his working in Eclipse as a whore. When Carden lost control, he gained a taste for real blood, and the synthetic stuff just doesn't work for him any more. How can he return to Rory now? Will Carden and Rory find each other again? Can Carden, Dennis, Thiago and Rory really trust anyone when things spiral out of control?

Mr. Llewellyn and Mr. Manly have created a fast paced story that ensnares the reader form the beginning. This book adds to the story line of the series as the characters are overwhelmed with seemingly impossible situations with enemies dedicated to killing them in any way possible. There is a plot twist that I never envisioned and totally took me by surprise. The love between Dennis/Thiago and Carden/Rory is both beautiful and very erotic. I for one can't wait to find out what happens next in the Blood Eclipse series.
