Yin Yang
Yin Yang by Sedonia Guillone is the fourth book in the White Tiger series. It is also available in the anthology Fabulous Brits and soon in audiobook format.

Fifteen years ago, Basho's family moved from Tokyo to London, England, and he met Timothy. The two became fast friends until the day Timothy had the courage to tell Basho about his true feelings. They were ecstatically happy until tragedy struck leaving Timothy to pick up the pieces of his life, after he was told that Basho and his family were killed when the Yakuza, Japanese Mafia, took revenge against his father.

What Timothy didn't know was that Basho didn't die, but was saved by two women who nursed him to health. For years Basho lived on the street with no memory of his past until he met Kiku-sensie, the owner of the White Tiger Inn. Kiku has the ability to know peoples true feelings and took him in as a cook. Kiku began teaching Basho the ways of the White Tiger in hopes that he would regain his memory on his own. After a while he did remember, but Basho wasn't able to find Timothy and eventually gave up, thinking that he was better off without a man injured and scared. Timothy never forgot about Basho and went as far as to change his name to try and escape the memories. Timothy has decided to travel to Tokyo to say his final goodbye to the man he has never forgotten. Timothy has booked a room at the White Tiger while he is in Tokyo, the same Inn that Basho is working at. Could Timothy and Basho finally meet after all these years and get a second chance at love or is it too late?

Ms. Guillone has written a poignant and loving story about the power of first love. I couldn't stop crying over the heartache that Basho and Timothy endured and how they reacted when they first set eyes on each other again after all of those years. I was touched by Ryu, another man at the White Tiger, who was very understanding of everything that Basho endured and was determined to unite them when he realized who Timothy was. The way that Basho and Timothy held onto their memories of each other was very beautiful. Thanks go to Ms. Guillone for an inspiring story.
