Sanguine Shadows is the first book in the Breathe series by Willa Okati. Ms. Okati is an author who never lets me down when I need something a bit outside of the norm. Darce is a cowboy who doesn’t know the extent of his loneliness until he meets Raven. Raven may be a bottom, but he knows how to top from that position like nobody I’ve seen in a while. The two are a perfect combination. This series has started out with a great start. A few bouts of arousing sex, a few confrontational moments that will have you on the edge of your seat, and a fight scene that shows where the strength truly lies. Don’t let Raven’s handsome looks fool you for a moment. The vampire is above the norm and destined for great things. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.
