Outage by J.M. Snyder is book seven in the Powers of Love series.

Matt runs a pool area at the local club where he works. In fact, this is where he met his lover Vic, and they have been happy ever after. The only kink in their lives is the super powers that Matt instills to Vic through sperm every time they make love. This situation has caused Matt problems, because past boyfriends have stayed with him just to gain the powers. Vic is the only man to prove that he wants Matt just for himself. Matt’s co-worker Roxie is the only one at work to know about Matt and Vic, but even she doesn’t know about Vic’s abilities. Roxie maneuvers Matt to once again attend a work seminar in spite of his objections. The last one didn’t end so great. To make matters worst, the city is under a severe winter storm warning. Vic manages to get Matt’s mind off of his troubles with a mind-blowing night that is hot enough to set them both on fire. The next day arrives, and unfortunately so does the storm. The weather doesn’t look good for our guys. Did their night of love instill any new power on Vic? More importantly, will the storm endanger Matt and Vic? Will their love protect them?

Ms. Snyder has continued her action-packed series with this incredible story. I love how in every consecutive story we learn more about Matt and Vic as they continue their lives together. Vic looks like a very dangerous man, But he is putty in Matt’s hands. Whatever Matt wants, Matt gets! It is fascinating to watch how Vic and Matt react to each new power as it happens, and how it affects their lives, both positively and negatively. It is awesome to know that Vic is aware that the powers are a gift from Matt, just like his love. Their feelings for each other are beautiful to behold. I can’t wait for the next book in the Powers of Love series.
