Anytime, Darlin’ by Julia Barrett is a heartfelt read. This is the first book by Julia Barrett that I have read, and I was pleasantly surprised. From the beginning, I was rooting for Devlin and Jake. Their tumultuous relationship kept me hooked from page one. I loved following as Devlin developed from a young girl into a mature woman who knew what she wanted. When Jake met her for the first time, he knew she was not old enough to fully understand her own feelings, and so he watched her from a distance as she grew into the woman he knew she could be. I found Anytime, Darlin’ to be a breathtaking read and I look forward to reading more books written by Julia Barrett!
