Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs

Jane Jameson is a children’s librarian at her local library in a small town called Half Moon Hollow. Her worst day ever is about to happen—she goes to work and gets fired with just a gift certificate to a local bar called Shenanigans as her severance. Being upset over this, she heads there to drown her sorrows in some fun drinks. Jane ends up meeting a handsome stranger named Gabriel, who later follows her home to make sure she makes it safely. Good thing he does too! After being mistaken for a deer by a drunk driver, Jane gets shot and left for dead on the side of the road. When she wakes up three days later, she’s in a strange house in the basement with the stranger she met at the bar. She’s all healed up—but is unfortunately craving blood!

Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs by Molly Harper is the best book ever written! The small town Jane and Gabriel live in is supposed to accept vampires, but unfortunately they end up dying from strange “accidents” all the time. When Jane finally makes it home after her turning, she finds out that she now has the ability to see her dead Aunt Jettie. Now it looks like someone is trying to frame Jane for vampire murders and she’s called before the counsel of vampires to defend herself. This novel is hilarious from page one all the way to the end. Jane’s comebacks to things people say to her had me rolling and tearing up with laughter! The budding romance between her and her sire, Gabriel, was so sweet and hilarious! I loved every character in Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs so much! Her best friend, Zeb, cracked me up too! Especially when he kept stabbing her just to watch her heal! I can’t say enough about this novel. I enjoyed it so much and am eagerly anticipating the release of the sequel. 5 Angels all the way!
