Orrin is a dangerously dark, sexy man with a magnetic appeal that Krista is unable to resist even if she wanted to. But before the couple can do more than have a single night of steamy sex, the Weres turn up and Krista is in grave danger. I like Donna Grant’s creative angle to the problem of where Weres come from. In this book they are an alien race endangering the human race, and the Time Agents are the good guys sent to save humanity from evil. Primal Heat is a departure from the usual books I have read by Ms. Grant, but she demonstrates her writing talent by showing she can successfully cross genres! If you are a fan of Ms. Grant’s work you will be surprised to find this story is not a historical romance but a contemporary paranormal story with wonderful fantasy elements and definitely erotic! I enjoyed it and would love to see more stories of this kind.
