Kerry “Sunshine” Sutton and his partner Lomian Sanders are partners in life and as a tag team called Vernal Equinox. Things have been rocky of late. Kerry is open with his love while Lomian is very secretive and not even willing to give Sunshine the words he needs to hear: I love you. This situation has lead to Sunshine looking elsewhere for the attention he craves, causing them to break up after a very nasty fight. Chad Barker, another wrestler, finds Kerry heartbroken crying his eyes out. Chad has always had a thing for Kerry, but he takes Kerry home in hopes of helping him. Chad is leery of getting too close so soon after Kerry’s break-up with Lomian. Will Kerry and Lomian break up forever? How will Chad fit into the situation? Could this be the end of Vernal Equinox?

Ms. Colter has continued her original story Tag Team 1: A Simple Mind adding depth and a new twist in the lives of Lomian and Kerry. It was difficult watching Kerry and Lomian call it quits to their relationship after everything they have gone through. Kerry isn’t the smartest person in the world, but he is sure about one thing – the love he feels for Lomian – even when he never gets the loving touches and words he needs. Chad reminds me of a knight in shining armor who is willing to restrain his feelings to help the man he has always loved, Kerry. I have been waiting for the sequel to the previous story, and I hope there will be further stories about the lives of Kerry, Lomian and Chad. Thanks go to Ms. Colter for a very enjoyable read. Once you read the first book, you will be hooked!
