Compromising Positions
Sophie Delfino has spent her life giving to others. It is what she does, so she has no hesitation in agreeing to fill in and do a couple’s yoga class for her sister. What she doesn’t expect is to be doing the classes with her ten-year fantasy David Strong. He has been in every position with her in her nightly fantasies. Now she has the chance for some up close and personal experience, and she will do whatever it takes to make her fantasies a reality.

David Strong has rules when it comes to his women. They are tall, blonde and know the score, nothing more than a one-night stand. When he agrees to help his best friend Craig out, the last thing he expects is to be attracted to the pint size brunette who barely comes up to his chest. The more time he spends with Sophie, the more he finds it harder to keep his hands off her.

Compromising Positions would have to be one of the best contemporary romance novels I have read in a long time. Jenna Bayley-Burke delivers it all, romance, humor, and great chemistry between her hero and heroine. It is so well written. The pace is great, and the story line fantastic.

The hero is true to his name Strong. I fell in love with David from the start, tall, dark and handsome with the body of a Greek God and a heart of gold. He is the perfect match for Sophie. Sophie is so giving to the extent she forgets about herself at times. But, don’t be fooled into thinking she’s a pushover. She knows what she wants and goes after it, and she wants David.

The idea of intertwining Kama Sutra sex positions with yoga is fresh and at times funny, especially when David has to hide the effect having Sophie so close to him has on his body. Each and every secondary character plays a big part in the story but in no way over shadows the hero and heroine. Ms. Bayley-Burke’s ability to get the balance between her main and secondary characters right is a testament to her writing skills and one of the reasons I’m looking forward to reading more of her novels. This is a curl up on the lounge and lose yourself in the story kind of read.
