Logan White is recently released from prison and must make a new life after eight years of being locked up. He's finding that harder to accomplish than he originally thought it would be. All he really wants is to make enough money to live off of and to keep out of prison. When he meets Reverend Shane Grayson, he thinks his prayers have been answered. After all the good Reverend helps him get a job, and he's also the hottest thing to walk into Logan's life in a long time. But Logan's finding it hard to stay out of trouble when trouble comes looking for him.

Not having been to prison, I can't imagine what it's like when an ex-convict gets out and has to start life all over again. Livin' on a Prayer makes you truly walk in someone else's shoes, giving a little taste of what it must be like. Although Logan has done his time, he finds compassion very hard to find in the real world. Reverend Shane ends up knowing a little bit about being condemned and so sympathizes with Logan. The two men are perfectly drawn characters and perfect for each other. Jude Mason fans will be happy to know that she waves her magic wand once again and comes up with a great story for us!
