Tangled Up in Love
Dylan Stone and Veronica Chasen are both fierce rivals. They write columns for competing newspapers, even though Veronica’s newspaper, the Cleveland Sentinel, is a smaller rival. Ever since Dylan beat her out of a prime columnist position at the Herald Veronica has challenged Dylan in her weekly column. The dares between them become very intense to the point that Veronica even got tattoo on a part of her body that Dylan would love to see. Dylan may act like he can’t stand Veronica, but whenever they are in the same room he can’t take his eyes off of her, and he creates sexual fantasies in his head.

Veronica’s blood pressure rises whenever she sees Dylan. Veronica needs to come up with a challenge that Dylan won’t succeed at. And finally a great idea comes to her! Veronica loves to knit and when she writes about her knitting accomplishments and states that women are much better knitters then men, Dylan is ready to prove her wrong.

What Veronica doesn’t expect is for Dylan to join her knitting group and ask her for some help. He even offers her one-thousand dollars to teach him. And because Veronica is very frugal with money due to a very poor childhood, she jumps on it. Soon Dylan is coming over to her apartment, sharing his Chinese food and having great conversations with her. And then one night Veronica gets a bit too tipsy and things change between them forever.

Tangled Up in Love is one adorable romance. Heidi Betts has written a sexy comedy about two rivals who come to the realization that their taunts and dares were just their own form of foreplay. And when Dylan and Veronica start their knitting lessons, those lessons become very hot and steamy. Talk about heating up the sheets! These two may want to out do the other one, but when it comes to sex, they both give and take equally.

Dylan and Veronica are also surrounded by supportive friends who will probably have their own books written. There is also an older grandmother type friend of Veronica who is a fellow knitter who thinks she has a magical spinning wheel that will help aid in matchmaking with the two lovers.

For a book that has great laughs and a wonderful romance that doesn’t disappoint in any way, I wholeheartedly recommend Tangled Up in Love. You will find yourself smiling till the very last page.
