Diablo Blanco Club: Unfair Advantage
In Qwillia Rain's story Unfair Advantage, we meet Bryce Hasley, whose family founded the Diablo Blanco Club, a famed D/s club, several generations ago. Unfortunately, his reputation from his behavior there has placed at risk his right to take over the running of the family's business empire. Thus he's given the ultimatum by his father: make a respectable marriage work or step down. This is not such a terrible idea to Bryce, who has just the right candidate for bride in mind his assistant, Mattie Lawrence. He immediately sets out to convince her to help him, and is not above making use of any 'unfair advantage' he can to do so.

"Lawrence" has loved him for eight long years, but isn't sure if she is ready, willing or able to submit-literally-to his demands (she has some horrific emotional wounds from an abusive father), and so gives him five intercourse-free days to convince her to marry him. He does this, albeit going right up to her very line, and they wed, but his troubles do not go away. The board members who originally sought to have Bryce removed for their own greedy purposes are not about to give up without a fight. Then following an attack, Mattie decides that she will not stay with Bryce if he can not love her in return, and threatens to leave. What is a Dom to do when the sub he adores makes demands like that?

Ms. Rain does an excellent job creating Bryce as the protective, caring, and yet absolute Dom. It truly is unfair that he is as sexy as all get out, because from his first 'lessons' there can be no doubt that he will have what he wants…and what he wants is Mattie, in bed and out, emotionally as well as physically. However, despite her eventual open admission of her feelings for him, and her own submissive nature, Mattie is by no means a door mat. Her insistence from the beginning that he in effect earn his right to marry her said a lot, and this comes through in the end when she forces him to lay it all out on the line for her love. And yet, who could blame her for melting when he focuses all his sexual intensity on her? When reading Ms. Rain's story, Unfair Advantage, it is a good idea to follow Mattie's plan of action for dealing with the boss: keep an extra pair of panties in the drawer! Five Angels
