12th Night
Marinna Davis finds herself at the mercy of a stranger on Christmas Eve. All of her instincts say to run, but something tells her that this man may be telling her the truth. When Kale sees Marinna next to the lake, he knows that he must save her. However, in saving her, he is condemning himself to twelve nights of more torture than he had already expected. When their enemies close in on them, he faces the biggest fight of his life and knows that he will mostly likely perish, but he must keep Marinna safe at all costs.

Leila Brown has created a new shape shifter. One which was very interesting and I would like to read more about them, how they live and their history. The characters in this story where Marinna and Kale. Marinna has had a long line of bad relationships; the most recent had lasted the longest and ended the worst. Kale is a shape shifter and has lived his life with guilt over who he is and what happened to his best friend. He is unlike most of his kind because of what happened years ago. Kale shows his strength and tenderness in his efforts to keep Marinna safe and alive.

12th Night was a good story overall. The plot was really interesting, and I would like to have learned more about the characters, including more in depth details of the type of shape shifter talked about in this book. If you are looking for a quick erotic paranormal romance and would like a new spin on shape shifters, then this book could be just what you are looking for.
