Kill For Me
After Susannah Vartanian buried her parents she vowed never to return to her home town where memories of her horrifying childhood lurk around every corner. But when her brother Daniel calls her and tells her he needs her help in exposing the evil that their brother had committed, she comes back to face the nightmare that she’s been running from and vows to do whatever it takes, even if it means admitting her greatest shame in order to make up for her years of silence that led to others being hurt.
Luke Papadopoulos has seen the worst that people do to one another while working internet sex crimes, and after a year of seeing such atrocities, he’s not sure he will ever be the same man he was before he started. But when Luke sees Susannah for the first time at her parents funeral, he’s impressed by the strength she shows and can see the darkness under the surface and knows that she would understand him, that she was like him.
As Susannah and Luke work to discover who is behind the rapes and murders that have plagued the small southern town, they will each face their own demons and discover that they can’t always trust the ones that are close to them.
Kill For Me picks up where Scream For Me ended and explains the mysteries left in the trilogy. I’m continually astounded by Ms. Rose’s ability to produce such intense stories with numerous, complex characters that flow together so smoothly.
Kill For Me is a dark, edgy tale that takes you on an unforgettable roller coaster ride. Susannah and Luke were great characters that pull you in and make you love them, flaws and all. It was great to visit with all the characters from the previous two books and see how well they were dealing with everything that had happened.
If you have read the first two books then you won’t want to miss this finale. If you haven’t had a chance to read this trilogy, then you will want to run out and buy all three and start on an extraordinary journey. 5 Angels!
