Windows
Windows by J. M. Snyder is a homoerotic contemporary romance.
Thom has recently broken up with his live-in boyfriend John after he caught him doing the nasty with his best friend who was supposedly straight. It ended badly with John making him hesitant to trust again. Now, Thom finds out that his new neighbor, Bradley, is the most delicious man he has ever seen. Bradley is the quintessential blond haired, blue eyed beach boy who expects to get whatever he wants. Unfortunately, it appears that Bradley has a boyfriend and has no problems with being seen having sex with him. Thom can’t stop himself from watching the two of them through a window and is shocked when he realizes that they are aware that he is watching them. Thom is shocked when Bradley comes over the next day in his underwear to get to know him. Thom doesn’t know how to respond when Bradley propositions him. After his last experience with love Thom is hesitant to trust again with someone who may not want more than a one night stand. Will Thom give Bradley a chance? What does Bradley really want from Thom?
Ms. Snyder has created a story where the characters come to life for the reader. I really sympathized with everything Thom has been through and I don’t know if I would have had the ability to trust so soon again myself. I loved how Bradley’s flamboyant and brash personality brought both humor and respect from the reader. I enjoyed watching how Thom couldn’t keep his mind off of Bradley even when he somehow managed to keep his hands off of him. On the surface, Bradley appears very superficial, but somehow I get the feeling that there may be more to him than meets the eye. You will have to read this story to find out the answers to these questions. Thanks go to Ms. Snyder for a great read.
