Maid Marian, now a Lady, is sent to the court of Prince John to spy on him for his mother, the queen. She has heard of his tastes in the bedroom, but she never quite imagined what she would be thrust into. Forced to submit to Prince John's wants, Marian becomes torn between her duty to the queen and her desire for two men: the dashing Robin Hood and the dark, brooding Will, Sheriff of Nottingham. In the end there is only one man who she will give her heart to.

I have always been fascinated by Robin Hood stories, but I have never read one quite like this. Colette Gale does a great job of making this story fresh, exciting, and steamy. I was drawn into this world; I could feel the emotions Marian was going through. When she was torn between Will and Robin, I was right there with her. Each man is captivating, but personally I was drawn towards Will. He is the perfect tortured hero, and I was rooting for him from the very beginning. Even still, I could find no faults with Robin. Marian had a tough choice, but it is easy to see she made the right one for her. Prince John is the true villain in this story, and he plays the part perfectly. I never once felt for him, and that is exactly how it should be. At the end, I wanted more; I was sad to see this story end. I want to know what happens next with everyone, I just did not want to let go. With a wonderful cast of characters, a great setting, and intense, emotional love scenes, Bound by Honor was a book all fans of this genre should read.
